Job Overview
The Associate Director, Organizational Effectiveness Portfolio and Project Management will be a key member of the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Team. In this role they will partner with OE advisors to support critical OE initiatives, Talent Development & Inclusion (TDI) team members to support high impact projects and programs and will maintain a portfolio of Organizational Effectiveness engagements to help enhance future prioritization efforts, ensure alignment of stakeholders and enable tracking of outcomes and value creation.
This role requires creativity, data fluency, and excellent facilitation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record solving challenges to deliver key outcomes efficiently and successfully, managing a portfolio, leading and supporting complex initiatives.
This position is located in Foster City, CA and will require working at our campus 3 days per week during our core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management
- Design and build OE portfolio to support a growing demand and increasing complexity of support needs
- Build processes and criteria and infrastructure needed to identify, prioritize, manage and monitor OE initiatives and resources in a way that produces tangible results
- Design measurement approach with input from OE Advisors and Stakeholders for OE value creation and maintain / enhance over time
- Create impactful and compelling presentations summarizing findings and recommendations that lead to improvements of the portfolio
- Leads portfolio review sessions as needed
Project Support & Management
- Partner with OE team members to support ongoing OE Capability Building
- Partner with TDI team to support critical initiatives and programs
- Leverage project management methodologies and tools to design and deliver key HR programs and initiatives, coordinate workstreams and ensure programs are rolled out to the business in a timely, well-coordinated and high-impact manner
- Partner with OE advisors to support OE Business Consultant and/or cross functional initiatives as needed
- Ensure timely deliverables, assessing risks and anticipating obstacles
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders and teams to help identify problems and identify solutions
- Conduct research and analysis, develop and present recommendations to senior management and drive overall OE portfolio management effectiveness
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
- 10+ years of relevant experience and a BS/BA or 8+ years of relevant experience and an MS/MBA
- Knowledge of HR programs and processes; previous experience in OE or internal consulting space preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Must possess strong facilitation and influencing skills
- Proven track record in strategic thinking, project management, and managing change (PROSCI Certification a plus
- Able to assess and prioritize conflicting business priorities, quickly resolve issues and address root causes while multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment
- Able to lead by influence outside of hierarchy and build strong, collaborative relationships within and outside of HR
