
Senior Manager, Global Medical Congress Planning and Execution

Role And Responsibilities
· Responsible for Medical booth production as well as congress-related Medical content and materials, including managing creation, review, and approvals in accordance with overarching Medical strategy and Congress and communication objectives
· Work proactively with the Medical team to ensure alignment with strategy and plan activities accordingly based on appropriate Congress deadlines
· Oversee medical communication/creative partner agencies for execution of booth design, messaging, and distribution materials, as well as onsite Medical booth operations
· Responsible for obtaining and maintaining vendor partner budget estimates, contracts, SOWs, POs, and invoice approvals for Congress booth activities
· Work closely with cross-functional congress planning teams to represent and advocate for Medical needs and priorities; lead or chair planning and leadership update meetings as appropriate
· Work with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate booth staffing, pre-congress booth training, and onsite booth walkthrough
· Create KPI metrics and reports for prioritized Congresses, with focus on using learnings and insights from each congress to improve and build on presence to improve HCP user experience
· Provide support to the Medical Education lead with CME/IME grant selection and processing
Experience and Skills
· Good project management skills. The successful candidate will be proactive and organized, as this role will require work on multiple congresses simultaneously
· Demonstrate knowledge in scientific content processes (including familiarity with platforms like Steeprock and Veeva)
· Strong knowledge of legal and compliance ways of working for Medical Congress activities, as well as ability to execute each Congress using best practices and in accordance with Company guidelines and local laws and regulations
· A good understanding of user experience to execute an interlinked HCP congress journey
· Ability to travel to assigned congresses (travel up to 25%)
