Main responsibilities

• Lead on the development and implementation of the annual therapeutic area communications plan for Gilead oncology in China
• Responsible for the success of media campaigns and activities around oncology new product launch, disease day etc.
• Support the corporate giving & engagement efforts with patient advocacy/community-based organizations (PAG/CBO) in oncology, establish the patient insights via proactive CBOs outreach and listening
• Work closely with cross-functional colleagues and Public Affairs team members to ensure internal alignment on priorities, messages etc.
• Manage agencies & project budget for high-quality deliverables
• Contribute to other Public Affairs initiatives to support the achievement of the team goals
   

Requirements

• 10+ years of experiences in communications and public relations, working in oncology preferred
• Sound understanding of business strategy, can translate them into communications plan and initiatives
• Good knowledge of the media and social media landscape in China, hands on experiences of media communications & engagement
• Strong content development skills in both English and Chinese
• Proactive, responsible, a quick learner & a good team player
