Sr. Manager Oncology
Knowledge:
- Must have experience in the pharmaceutical industry; Breast Cancer/Oncology is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields required, MBA or other advanced business degree is desired
- Previous experience of at least 5 years in marketing is required
- Fluent in Italian and English languages is a must
- Must show demonstrated excellence in project management and have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects/priorities
- Previous Therapeutic indication with high scientific emphasis is highly desired
- Experience in managing advanced multichannel activities also strongly recommended
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials is a plus
- Must have recognised expertise in implementing a pharmaceutical communication plan
- Must be very familiar with industry trends and remain current with competitor’s resources and practices
- Must have a successful record of developing external relationships leading to brand advocacy
- Must have a track record of successful pharma marketing with an understanding of expense budget planning and tracking
- Must possess excellent analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems, and interpret information in a manner that provides appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict, and drive consensus among, individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines
- Must have strong organizational skills, including the ability to follow assignments through to completion (bias towards execution)

Specific job responsibilities:
This role is within the Business Unit Oncology, specifically as Senior Product Manager for Oncology reporting to the Marketing Director
The responsibilities include a strong strategic and operative focus on marketing activities to achieve business objectives.
- Sales Tools Development: Responsible for defining, creating, and updating sales tools (e.g., communication, brochures, slide decks, training materials, digital resources, ) in alignment with the strategic objectives and field force needs. Ensures these tools are impactful, user-friendly, and aligned with brand messaging and regulatory requirements.
- Event Planning and Organization: Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including advisory boards, scientific symposia, congress activities, promo events and internal training sessions. Oversees logistics, content development, speaker engagement, and ensures high-quality delivery within timelines and budgets.
- Plan of Action (POA): Manages the entire lifecycle of the POA, including its definition in close collaboration with the cross functional team, writing, and approval process. Ensures adherence to timelines, prepares comprehensive documentation, and delivers impactful presentations to internal stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams and global teams. Monitors the implementation of the POA and evaluates its outcomes to refine future strategies.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Works closely with internal departments (medical, regulatory, market access, governmental affairs and public affairs) and external stakeholders (agencies, and KOLs) to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities. Conducts innovative brainstorming session to challenge status quo and create new concepts supporting the Brand Strategy
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Utilizes analytical tools to assess marketing initiatives, and generate actionable insights. Provides regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- KOL and Customer Engagement: Builds and sustains strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, forms strategic partnerships with key customers and accounts.
- Budget Management: Oversees the planning and monitoring of budgets for marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Multichannel activities: Develops digital strategies for the Brand and ensure its implementation. Ensures multichannel customer engagement strategy is applicable and rolled out
- Market research: Leverage primary and secondary market research and analytics critical to directing brand strategies and optimizing marketing tactics
