Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Commercial Excellence Leadership

  • Partner with Business Unit, Market Access, and affiliate leadership teams to translate business priorities into execution plans, governance frameworks, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to local leaders by identifying opportunities, execution gaps, risks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead Commercial Excellence initiatives that enhance field force effectiveness, customer engagement, omnichannel adoption, execution quality, and overall business performance.
  • Driveperformance assessments, providing actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary Commercial Excellence point of contact for Brazil, ensuring strong alignment between affiliate priorities and regional/global strategies.
  • Promote best-practice adoption, operational excellence, and performance-driven decision-making across the affiliate.

Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)

  • Lead end-to-end Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives, including customer segmentation, targeting, call planning, territory alignment, and resource optimization.
  • Monitor field force performance, productivity, coverage, frequency, and execution quality through established KPIs.
  • Evaluate commercial performance metrics and recommend actions to maximize effectiveness and business impact.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure execution strategies remain aligned with evolving business priorities.

Commercial Operations, CRM & Data Administration

  • Act as the local owner of CRM governance, commercial data administration, and related execution processes.
  • Ensure effective use, adoption, and continuous improvement of CRM platforms, dashboards, reporting solutions, and commercial tools.
  • Maintain and optimize customer master data, territory structures, segmentation models, targeting frameworks, and commercial data hierarchies.
  • Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, system compliance, and availability of reliable information for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and business insights through a self-service analytics approach.
  • Provide hands-on support for system administration, issue resolution, deployment activities, change management, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with regional and global teams to implement new commercial capabilities, systems, and best practices.

Incentive Governance & Calculation

  • Lead governance, administration, and calculation of affiliate incentive compensation programs.
  • Execute incentive calculations, validations, reconciliations, approvals, performance tracking, and related governance activities.
  • Ensure accuracy, transparency, compliance, and operational integrity across incentive processes.
  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, HR, and regional stakeholders to maintain alignment between incentive plans and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales performance management, incentive governance, and compensation processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Regional Alignment

  • Partner effectively across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Compliance, IT, HR, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the key liaison between Brazil and LATAM/Global Commercial Excellence teams.
  • Support successful deployment and adoption of regional and global initiatives within the affiliate.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, operational consistency, process standardization, and best-practice exchange across markets.
  • Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and execution excellence across commercial operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Medical Device, or related industries.
  • Strong experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Force Effectiveness, Commercial Operations, CRM Management, Business Analytics, or Sales Operations.
  • Proven experience managing performance analytics, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and business insights.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, targeting, territory design, incentive management, and performance governance.
  • Experience supporting multiple Business Units and/or Market Access organizations is preferred.
  • Experience leading commercial transformation, CRM implementation, or process optimization initiatives is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
