The Commercial Operations team in our German affiliate is looking for a Junior Manager – Digital Marketing Operations to help us take our omnichannel activities to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to shape our digital infrastructure and enhance customer engagement through innovative (digital) channels and engagement journeys.
The role reports to the Digital Marketing Operations Lead and is office based in Martinsried, Munich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Partner with our Business Unit (BU) marketing and sales teams to design and execute omnichannel strategies and campaigns, reinforcing market leadership and delivering a seamless customer experience along the key strategic imperatives.
- Leadership: Proactively foster a customer-centric, KPI-driven and e2e-focused planning and execution approach to our x-functional omnichannel campaigns, involving key stakeholders from relevant functions.
- Campaign Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of integrated campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to the brand teams for optimization in collaboration with SFE and BA teams.
- Digital Expertise: Act as a key consultant for the development, launch, and technical enhancement of media and digital engagement channels.
- Content Management: Support content updates and enhancements on digital (web) platforms and enable the implementation of a modular content-based asset management.
- Point-of-Contact: Serve as the primary contact between marketing, digital agencies, and international headquarters to ensure smooth execution of brand strategy and infrastructure rollout.
- Innovation Culture: Foster a culture of digital innovation, promoting the use of new digital technologies and channels to stay ahead in the market.
- Trend Awareness: Keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, identifying opportunities to improve digital marketing capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Degree in IT, business administration, natural sciences or related fields
- Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally within a biotech/ Pharma or healthcare-related industry.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and customer engagement strategies.
- Ability to analyze campaign data and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g. SFMC, Sitecore, Veeva).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Capability to assume full responsibility for accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of key data points and reports on a continuous basis.
- A passion for staying ahead of digital trends and technology advancements.
