Associate Scientist, Cell Biology – Translational Medicine

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing Translational Medicine team as an Associate Scientist. The Associate Scientist will play a key role in advancing our current CAR-T cell receptor pipeline and contributing to the development of the next generation of cancer immunotherapies. This role is hands-on and reports to a Research Scientist.

Responsibilities

  • Bioanalytical (PK/PD) testing of clinical trial biospecimens
  • Validation of assays supporting programs in clinical development
  • Analysis of data, and preparation of data packages as needed for presentation and/or submission to regulatory agencies
  • Sample and vendor management, lab inventory, protocol writing, and report preparation
  • Maintenance of documentation and instrument that meets GCP-like Lab standards
  • Support of exploratory studies involving characterization of product T cells

Basic Qualifications

Master’s Degree and 3+ years of scientific experience

OR

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of scientific experience

OR

High School Degree and 9+ years of scientific experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a life science discipline
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Experience handling and working with specimens from clinical trial
  • Experience with nucleic acid extraction, PCR and droplet digital PCR assay development and other molecular biology techniques and Nanostring
  • Experience with multiplex proteomics (e.g. MSD, Ella)
  • Strong cell culture/aseptic technique
  • Experience with platforms for cell imaging and analyses such as Incucyte, EVOs and flow cytometry
  • Experience in vendor management in terms of biospecimen repository and analyses
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
