The Intern will contribute to the characterization and understanding of our cell therapy products and processes through advanced analytical techniques. Specific responsibilities may include:
Method Development: Develop and optimize LC-MS/MS methods for in-depth quantitative and qualitative proteomic analysis of cell therapy products.
Sample Preparation: Perform complex sample preparation, including cell lysis, protein extraction, digestion, and peptide fractionation.
Data Acquisition: Operate and maintain state-of-the-art high-resolution mass spectrometers (e.g., Orbitrap-based systems).
Bioinformatic Analysis: Utilize bioinformatics tools and pipelines (e.g., MaxQuant, Proteome Discoverer, R, Python) for large-scale proteomics data analysis, including statistical evaluation, protein identification, quantification, and pathway analysis.
Tool Development: Design, develop, and implement in-house bioinformatic tools and databases to enhance the storage, processing, and visualization of proprietary proteomics data.
Collaboration & Presentation: Work cross-functionally with process development, research, and manufacturing teams, and clearly present data and conclusions to a diverse scientific audience.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, methods, and results.
