Within IT Customer Success and Enablement (CSE), we focus on driving internal customer success and technology enablement across Gilead. Our goal is to minimise disruption, enhance productivity, and improve the overall employee experience. We bridge the gap between technology and people by building awareness and encouraging engagement with IT offerings, initiatives, platforms, and services. Through measuring adoption and satisfaction, we continuously strive for excellence and improvement.
We are seeking a subject matter expert to lead and deliver organisational change management, communications, and learning activities that support the successful adoption of enterprise-wide IT initiatives and technology solutions.
This role is centred on the people side of change, including impacts to business processes, systems, and technology. You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders, leaders, and peers to design and execute plans that drive business value and achieve targeted outcomes. The role also requires adherence to departmental SOPs and guidelines to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of change management strategies and work plans across multiple internal IT projects and technology initiatives.
- Promote and embed organisational change management practices within project delivery, ensuring consistent application of processes, methodologies, and tools (e.g. readiness assessments, targeted surveys, early adopters programmes, and communications).
- Develop and execute communication strategies, including clear plans and timelines. Collaborate with leaders, peers, and IT stakeholders to ensure messaging aligns with strategic objectives.
- Draft, review, and deliver high-quality communications in line with IT CSE plans.
- Identify potential risks and areas of resistance, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive and targeted change plans, including communication, sponsor roadmaps, leadership coaching, learning plans, and measurement approaches.
- Track adoption, utilisation, and user proficiency, while supporting continuous improvement of tracking tools and systems.
- Encourage and implement reinforcement strategies, including recognition and celebration of success.
- Support additional activities as required to meet IT CSE team objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in organisational change management, project management, and communications within a technology environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of how change impacts organisations and external client environments.
- Experience with established change management methodologies (e.g. ADKAR); Prosci certification is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Copilot, and familiarity with AI tools.
