- Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide global business process, data flow, and documentation support, including development and implementation of standardized documentation.
- Supervise, mentor, and train less experienced team members; plan, prioritize, and schedule daily activities.
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of new concepts, tools, techniques, and operational standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize enterprise-wide supply chain and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP standards, SOPs, and safety practices across all activities.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify impacts on business performance and develop tools and solutions to support operational excellence and Center of Excellence initiatives.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and business processes, including ERP enhancements and system integrations.
- Develop and execute inventory strategies aligned with business goals and supply chain efficiency.
- Assist in defining operational requirements and business process architectures for ERP systems in support of current and future business needs.
- Support project planning and execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
- Execute and support supply chain planning initiatives to meet departmental and organizational targets.
- Review and approve non-routine and business-critical documentation, including work orders, contracts, purchase orders, and material transfer requests.
- Make decisions aligned with company objectives related to inventory management, production scheduling, procurement, and supplier selection.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR
- Master’s degree (MS/MBA/MA) with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated industries.
- Advanced experience with ERP implementation, optimization, or business systems architecture.
- Strong background in supply chain planning, inventory management, and process improvement.
- Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional and global initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage supply chain requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain principles, industry practices, and operational standards.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (with emphasis on Operations and Supply Chain functionality), as well as Oracle, DB2, Access, and advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) and production scheduling systems.
- Ability to develop solutions to moderately complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.
