The Network Performance Modeling & Analytics Associate is a highly analytical role within the Supply Chain function and provides opportunity to develop advanced analytics solutions to solve some of the hardest patient, manufacturing, and supply chain problems. The Network Performance Modeling & Analytics Associate, internally known as the Supply Chain Specialist III, will be responsible for deriving data driven insights to guide our network strategy. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team who can collaborate across functions to develop secondary, predictive, and prescriptive models and pull through insights to actions.
To create a strong partnership with stakeholders and leaders, we would like this Network Performance Modeling & Analytics Associate to be based in our state-of-the-art Santa Monica, CA global headquarters and will offer a comprehensive relocation package as needed.
Responsibilities of the Network Performance Modeling & Analytics Associate include, but are not limited to:
Provides structure to unstructured problem statements, draws assumptions and converts into a data backed hypothesis testing exercise
Wrangles raw data sets into a format that can have advanced methods applied against the resulting data
Provides applied data science and advanced modeling support (e.g., AI/ML, statistical – distributions, central tendencies, dispersions, multivariate analysis, probability theory, relationship testing) to multiple business cases and initiatives
Designs and oversees execution of sophisticated predictive models to inform manufacturing strategies, patient cycle times, and manufacturing performance/financial modeling
Derives trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders and possesses the ability to translate it into leadership consumption PowerPoints; drives execution as needed
Participates in cross-functional workstreams and project teams to provide analytical support as a Subject Matter Expert on data and data manipulation techniques
Understands project timelines and deliverables and plans/coordinates project work accordingly with departmental, functional, and external stakeholders
Coordinates with other functions and presents to senior management to secure approval for new scheduling strategies; integrates feedback into models/approach
Develops tools/Data tools to digest data better and to improve sustainability in data management
Uses visualization software to create dashboards to communicate performance metrics
Basic Qualifications:
MS/MA Degree OR
BS/BA Degree with 2+ years of Supply Chain and/or Analytics and/or Data Modeling and/or Information Systems and/or Operations experience OR
AA Degree with 4+ years of Supply Chain and/or Analytics and/or Data Modeling and/or Information Systems and/or Operations experience OR
High School Degree with 5+ years of Supply Chain and/or Analytics and/or Data Modeling and/or Information Systems and/or Operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Applied Mathematics, Programming, Optimization techniques, Operational research, Python Scripting, Data Mining, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
Experience consulting within a highly analytical supply/demand planning environment; strong analytics-driven decision-making ability is a plus
Broad knowledge of existing AI-type algorithms and the creativity to invent and customize when necessary
Highly skilled communicator with proven ability to simply and succinctly communicate complex analytical conclusions; listens well & incorporates feedback into analytical model
Excellence in work structuring; adaptable and enthusiastic team player
