Job Description

Primary responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute (includes dosing, measuring tumors, collecting tissues), troubleshoot and analyze in vivo pharmacology experiments (efficacy, PK/PD)
  • Pre-clinical model development and characterization
  • Interface with cross-functional project team members, and participate in and presentation at project team meetings and cross-departmental team meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree with at least 4 year of relevant experience in a related scientific discipline.

OR

  • MS degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a related scientific discipline.

Preferred Qualitifications:

  • Experience with in vivo pharmacology research experiments or related activities that support drug discovery and development.
  • Expertise with mouse models of cancer and cancer immunotherapy
  • Proficiency with various mouse handling techniques including dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP), tumor inoculation/measurements, in life and terminal blood collection, collection and handling of tissues during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysis
  • Experience with sterile tissue culture, and molecular and basic cellular biology techniques
  • Hands on experience with flow cytometry and multi-parametric analysis is desired
  • Experience with in vivo imaging is desired
  • Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals
