United States - California - Foster CityResearchRegularОписание вакансии
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientist to join our team in the field of cellular biology and lipid nanoparticle research. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing experiments related to the development and characterization of lipid nanoparticle-based and other delivery systems for therapeutic applications.
Responsibilities:
Design and conduct experiments to develop and optimize lipid nanoparticle formulations for the delivery of nucleic acids (e.g. siRNA, mRNA) or small molecule drugs.
Perform molecular biology techniques such as mRNA synthesis and processing, gene expression analysis (e.g. qPCR, flow cytometry), and cell-based assays to evaluate the efficacy and mechanisms of action of lipid nanoparticle formulations.
Characterize lipid nanoparticles using various analytical techniques. The assays may include dynamic light scattering (DLS), zeta potential measurements, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
Develop and optimize protocols for the synthesis, purification, and analysis of lipid nanoparticles.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures, data, and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic databases.
Analyze and interpret experimental data and present findings in team meetings and scientific conferences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, biologists, and computational scientists, to advance the development of lipid nanoparticle-based therapeutics.
Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, manuscripts, and patent applications.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, good laboratory practices (GLP), and regulatory guidelines.
