Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director and Head of US Marketing, the Director of U.S. Omnichannel Marketing will deploy marketing and omnichannel related tools and maintain best-in-class marketing capabilities to cultivate excellence in customer engagement in coordination with US Marketing colleagues.
Specifically, this individual contributor and subject expert matter will be responsible for defining and facilitating marketing excellence in customer journey, campaign activation and channel execution securing touchpoint and impact measurement. They will also contribute to articulate the Marketing & Omnichannel (OMC) vision and strategy to realize full customer engagement potential across customer segments. This individual will also contribute to defining Marketing and OMC planning frameworks and help and support processes for modular content implementation. to achieve so, the Director will work with closely with the Global Data & Digital Innovation team within Commercial.
To develop and foster meaningful connections with stakeholders, we would prefer that the Director be located at Kite’s Santa Monica, California headquarters (3 days per week onsite required).
Key Responsibilities of the Director of U.S. Omnichannel Marketing include:
• Design omnichannel marketing strategy to reach key stakeholders through integrated digital channels.
• Ensure customer segmentation is aligned to tailored messaging and content needs across various touchpoints including email, social media, web, etc.
• Develop personalized content strategies to engage each customer segment, improving engagement rates and brand impact.
• Define the expected behaviors to be observed in the marketing and sales teams referred to the different use of the channels available.
• Facilitate channel excellence execution.
• Manage campaigns across multiple digital channels to and drive excellence within a connected channel ecosystem that facilitates outstanding customer experience and engagement.
• Assess potential to integrate AI-driven Next Best Action engine and modular content approach, developing fit-for-purpose use cases and engaging with key stakeholders across Kite and Gilead.
• Work with CL&D to support the strengthening of the required learning journeys providing the relevant content and delivering the required expert training.
• Use analytics and insights to monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of omnichannel efforts, using data to drive insights and improve future campaigns.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate and 8+ years of experience
OR
Master’s Degree and 10+ years of experience
OR
Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of experience
OR
Associate Degree and 14+ years of experience
OR
High School Diploma/GED and 16+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 12+ years’ experience and extensive knowledge of customer centric omnichannel transformations.
• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated experience in Marketing or digital OMC roles in the US.
• Awareness and working knowledge of customer engagement journeys, digital channels, mail, and web strategy, SFMC, and other such capabilities is highly desired.
• Highly driven, strong results orientation, and a passion for implementation and moving deliverables forward.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment.
• Able to manage complex projects across markets and stakeholders and ensure on time and smooth execution.
• Experience in driving large initiatives which involve cross-functional, multi-layered global environment, engaging with various levels in the organization.
• Excellent influencing and networking skills paired with stakeholder management, gravitas and leadership.
• Ability to make data driven decisions (qualitative or quantitative) and to build compelling business cases and plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
