Job Description

The Role:

In this role, you will help provide QE support of site Technical Operations (TechOps) processes related to cGMP such as Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) and Computer System Validation (CSV) in support of the addition of a second manufacturing process at our facility. In addition, you will help support our Quality Risk Management (QRM) program, and Data Integrity (DI) program.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the quality oversight of the CQV and CSV activities for the second manufacturing process addition
  • Support the Site Quality Risk Register (QRR)
  • Support the Site Data Integrity (DI) Program
  • Support the site’s quality system management through data acquisition, analysis, and reporting
  • Assist in the administration of the risk assessment process for qualification and validation
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the site’s quality organization
  • Assist in research and investigation activities related to deviations and out of tolerance reports

Basic Qualifications for Undergraduate Intern:

  • Be at least 18 years or older
  • A minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Eligible to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program at an accredited U.S. based university/college
  • Completed at least one year of study at an accredited university/college prior to internship commencing
  • Enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited U.S. based university/college after the completion of the internship – with earliest graduation date of December 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025
  • Able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
  • Not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Engineering or other relevant area of science
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to identify issues and seek solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross functional teams in fast pace, dynamic team setting
  • Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and/or interest in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or health-care industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory policies
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Experience in Operational Excellence / Lean methodologies a plus
