Key Responsibilities:
At Gilead IT's enterprise platforms team, we are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Middleware Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and data exchange across diverse enterprise applications and platforms. As a Middleware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust middleware solutions that serve as the backbone of our IT infrastructure.
You will play a key role in enabling integration between legacy systems, ERP systems (SAP, EBS), cloud services, and modern applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of middleware technologies, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in system interoperability.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 Years’ of relevant Experience
OR
- Master's Degree and at least 8 Years’ of relevant Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on working experience on Middleware tools such as Boomi, APIGEE
- On-prem/cloud hybrid experience using Middleware tools
- Hands-on experience in managing GxP & SOX solutions
- Working experience with EDI/OTC/FSS/3PL's and trading partners
- Working experience with pharama manufacturing processes
- Hands-on DevOps & Agile delivery experience
- Track record working in a fast paced, FDA regulated IT environment
- Experience managing consultants and providing technical recommendations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects & priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
