Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Define vision, policies, and standards for network operations, aligning IT with business objectives.]
People Leadership: This role includes supervising contractors, vendors and employee resources.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day network performance, reliability, security, and maintenance (LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud) across the international enterprise.
ITIL Frameworks: Implement and manage processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Team Leadership: Provide direction, mentorship, and manage NOC/infrastructure teams, ensuring skill development.
Vendor & Budget Management: Negotiate contracts, manage third-party relationships, and control budgets.
Performance & SLAs: Define SLAs, monitor KPIs, and drive service quality improvements.
Risk & Compliance: Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) plans, business continuity protocols, and security measures.
Core Skills & Experience:
Deep understanding of enterprise networking (SD-WAN, routing, switching, BGP, MPLS).
Proven leadership and management experience in large-scale, global IT environments.
Strong grasp of ITIL, ISO, or NIST frameworks.
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree (CS, IS, or related field) or equivalent experience or 8 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
Significant leadership experience (e.g., 5-10+ years in IT/network ops).
