As a Director Marketing Enablement at Gilead, you will be an integral part of a fast paced highly collaborative team, who are on a mission to increase awareness, knowledge, relevancy, and usage of PrEP as part of preventative health for all who could benefit from it.

Responsibilities:

  • Informs strategy and leads problem solving related to optimal coverage pull through, acquisition, and logistics in partnership with other internal teams consistent with brand goals and objectives

  • Maintain understanding of customer product coverage and acquisition pathways

  • Effectively identifies and translates office/HCP needs and realities into clear guidance

  • In partnership with cross-functional teams establish clarity on key topics related to product uptake, like: how to write the script, where to send the script, etc.

  • Assess novel opportunities to support product uptake as identified by senior leaders like; pharmacy initiatives, packaging, and telehealth

  • Drive internal alignment and lead the development of field‑facing tools and resources that enable offices to navigate coverage, reimbursement, and distribution pathways effectively, accelerating consistent local pull‑through

  • Own and lead field communications related to access, including coverage changes, restriction removals, and evolving policy and legislative updates, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Develop and execute high‑impact marketing tactics aligned to strategy, demonstrating command of both traditional and non‑traditional channels to drive measurable results.

  • Support team with establishing and maintaining organizational ‘talking points’ on topics key to brand strategy and execution

  • Use insights and data to inform plans, select KPIs, and optimize impact.

  • Prioritize effectively in complex environments and provide clear, logical recommendations.

  • Anticipate changes in healthcare policy, access, and market dynamics; proactively adapt strategies.

  • Ensure on‑time, on‑budget execution, including agency and budget management.

  • Collaborate closely with Field, Legal, Medical, Regulatory, Analytics, Government Affairs, Managed Markets, and Marketing partners.

  • Continuously improve processes, systems, and ways of working to enhance scalability and effectiveness.

  • Deliver clear, compelling presentations to senior leaders and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure full compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years' Experience

OR

Masters' Degree and Ten Years' Experience

OR

PhD and Eight Years' Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields is preferred

  • An advanced science degree or an advanced business degree such as an MBA is desirable

  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team and in leading cross-functional teams

  • Strong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • High learning agility and self-starter preferred

  • Experience working with EHRs is preferred

  • Experience with both pharmacy and medically billed products (including buy and bill) is preferred

  • Sales experience is desired and a minimum of 3 years in product marketing or advertising

  • Expert understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials is required

  • Comfortable discussing topics relevant to the HIV prevention space, including sexual health, mental health, and substance use.

  • Ability to Travel: up to 25%
