Job Description

Kite is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director, Sales Analytics and Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving sales planning and performance through data-driven insights and operational excellence. This position requires a strategic thinker with robust, hands on, analytical skills and a deep understanding of the biotech industry. Responsibilities include:

Sales Planning and Analytics

  • Lead field force KPI development, performance reporting including design and implementation of field facing dashboards and reports, enabling effective pre-call planning and a thorough understanding of performance and opportunities for a geography (national, regional, territory).

  • Analyze sales performance and field execution data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership on developing analysis to better understand and target business opportunities in their geographies.

  • Conduct analytics projects to inform a range of business issues including field force targeting, call planning, sales force sizing, and account planning.

  • Work with brand teams to setup analyses to measure effectiveness of marketing tactics.

  • Lead field force effectiveness initiatives by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Integrated Insights, and Commercial Learning & Development, to generate actionable insights and optimize performance.

Operations Excellence

  • Lead territory optimization and realignment processes to ensure balance in workload while maximizing business opportunity.

  • Generate on-time monthly and quarterly deliverables with rigorous data quality control.

  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Global Data & Digital Innovation, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, business requirements, and timeline.

  • Lead user testing, training, and adoption of reports and dashboards.

  • Recommend and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Degree and 14+ years of relevant industry experience; OR

  • Associates Degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience; OR

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR

  • Masters' Degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR

  • PhD and Two Years Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in Pharmaceutical/biotech Commercial Operations and Analytics functions

  • Proven ability to extract insights from working with large, imperfect, data sets

  • Strong project and task management, analytics, and communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (e.g. MS Excel, Access, Word & PowerPoint) is required

  • Knowledge of SQL, and/or other BI or data visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is required

  • Experience in rare disease and/or therapies requiring patient hub services are a plus

  • Candidates in this role are expected to be hands-on with ability to setup and conduct data analysis, project management, prepare and deliver presentations to Director/Sr. Director level audiences.
