The Associate Director (AD) of Trade Enablement will be responsible for evolving trade and channel access at Kite Pharma. The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to recommend, and lead improvements between Kite and 3PL partners. This role will manage large scale projects and programs toward the effort of expanding Kite’s trade network. You will be part of the rapidly evolving CAR-T market access and trade landscape with one of the leading companies in the space, develop lasting partnerships internally and externally, and define trade activity for years to come.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead system enhancements needed for Kite trade operations in support of new initiatives

  • Lead the development and implementation of new trade initiatives, such as contract pricing programs, product return processes, and data integration initiatives between Kite and 3PL partners.

  • Identify emerging trends within the competitive landscape and customer preferences leveraging insights to inform strategic decision making

  • Lead channel assessment and launch readiness activities for new assets

  • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders

  • Utilize 3PL distributor and internal order data to identify process and system enhancements to support order processing and invoicing

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure trade performance, tracking progress against targets, and implement corrective actions as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced scientific degree (i.e. MD, PharmD, PhD) and 5+ years of experience OR

  • Master’s Degree and 8+ years of experience OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience OR

  • Associate’s Degree and 12+ years of experience OR

  • High School Degree and 14+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years demonstrated experience in leading large scale, cross functional, projects utilizing project management tools and providing updates to various levels of the organization regarding project status.

  • Extensive understanding of the hematology / oncology business of cell therapy

  • Ability to lead and impact cross-functional partners to develop creative solutions where precedent may not exist

  • Experience leading RFPs for channel distribution assessments or other large scale RFP engagements

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret business issues/opportunities and make sound business judgments regarding solutions

  • Demonstrated cross-functional project management experience including system enhancement and process standardization initiatives

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
