Department Description As Team Lead you’ll be leading a team in which people of all backgrounds and experiences are respected. You lead a team of 3-8 Supply Chain Coordinators who are managing the cell orders for the European Region. Based on your ambition and performance this role provides you a great opportunity to grow your career within Kite. You will be based in Hoofddorp (near Amsterdam). You will report to the Senior Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Mentors, coaches, and develops a team of 3-8 supply chain coordinators Demonstrates a good understanding of Kite Leadership Principles and applies them effectively within your team. Attracts and retains talent by active participation in recruiting processes to meet business needs. Ensures alignment between the EU cell order management teams Provides supervision, technical support, training and guidance. Plans daily activities, prioritizes and schedules activities in line with company goals. Develops and improves training curriculum and tools to enable streamlined on boarding of new team members Coaches the team members on resolving operational issues resulting from process or system errors Acts as the key point of contact for escalations related to finished product and apheresis logistics operations for the EU region Proactively identify and mitigate any potential supply interruptions, performs required corrective measurements or escalates to next level support Manages and supports the cell order journey and geographical expansion by developing systems, processes and managing SOPs Solid understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows that apply to the daily work of your team. Introduces and integrates new technologies and/or new processes, as needed Defines and reports on targets (KPI’s) for the team to ensure the team meets business needs Partners collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals related to cell order management Contributes pro-actively to the continuous improvement of the overall supply chain processes Leads the EU S&OE process Leads or participates in improvement projects, supports the execution of supply chain initiatives to achieve departmental targets Subject matter expert for cell order management systems and reporting tools, leads system improvements Continuously monitoring the nature of emergencies and deviations and owns the Order Management team’s playbook to handle them in a standardized and efficient way Ensures GMP compliance and safe work practices, including current and correct SOPs Provides input for regular operations review meetings with local commercial teams Other duties as assigned         Requirements: Master's Degree and 3 year of operations or supply chain experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of operations or supply chain experience OR Associate's degree and 6 years of operations or supply chain experience Qualifications: Required: Must have customer service and supply chain experience in pharmaceutical setting (Oncology, hematology, immunotherapy preferred) Solid knowledge and understanding of cGDP and GMP legislation Experience in executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Experience with MS office and ERP systems (preferably Oracle EBS) knowledge of end to end supply chain Personal skills Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, keeping oversight and (re-)set priorities Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Patient centric mindset; understands the unique complexity for each order (patient) and pro-actively prepares to ensure a successful cell journey per agreed timelines Great self-starter with a pro-active attitude Multicultural awareness, demonstrates collaboration and respect, focuses on delivering value, and embraces learning and continual improvement Outgoing and approachable personality If you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and feel that the moment has come for you to be part of our exciting journey towards eliminating the burden of chronic cancer care, don’t miss out on this opportunity to join us.
