Kite Europe is currently adding additional talent as it focuses on developing the European region in support of providing maximum access to patients with unmet needs. We’re building a state-of-the art manufacturing site in the Netherlands (Amsterdam-Hoofddorp). For this site we’re currently seeking to recruit highly motivated talents for different positions, to join us and be part of our exciting journey in the development of innovative cancer immunotherapies and their translation to the treatment of patients with cancer.


As the head of the TCF04 material planning  team you’ll be joining the Site Supply Chain department, in which employees of all backgrounds and experiences are respected, and where working together focused on saving lives, by finding the cure for cancer, is a daily activity.

The Sr. manager will report into the Director Site Supply Chain. The main responsibilities will be focused on all material planning and buying related activities. The manager ensures that all people, process and technology related activities are best in class. The manager does this by ensuring and supporting continuous improvement, strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Strong people manager with complex problem-solving skills. Leader with focus on Kite leadership values and shaping an organization in line with the Kite culture.

With the material planning team, you will be responsible for all scheduling and planning of material purchase orders into TCF04. You will work closely with stakeholders from different departments like Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Supply Chain(regional/Global/site) and Engineering & Facility.

You will be responsible for ensuring all materials are on stock to support TCF04 departments to fulfil their activities. You are able to optimize supply and consumption, balancing our working capital (stock position) and scrapping cost. You will ensure that inbound planning is connected and aligned with the operational capacity in the warehouse. You will be responsible for BOM setup in TCF04. You will support and manage the material budgeting cycle by providing and translating consumption into an operational supply and inventory plan. You will initiate continues improvements projects to constantly improve TCF04 planning of materials in the most efficient way. You will work closely with the site related planning process and connects these with the global material planning network. You will be able to provide clear and to the point guidance on senior leadership level, creating KPI’ s and to the point presentations.

Manage daily material planning operational activities:

  • Ensure a controlled flow or materials to TCF04
  • Responsible for a flawless execution of the monthly planning cycle for the complete material portfolio
  • Lead resolution and mitigation of material issues; escalate and coordinate with global when required and advise in network mitigation plans.
  • Create and execute material supply plan, by ensuring timely PO’s
  • Collaborate with suppliers and sourcing to ensure OTIF and expedite PO’ s when needed.
  • Provide timely update to stakeholders on status and readiness of project related activities
  • Report on metrics and develop metrics to ensure visibility on material planning activities
  • Drive continues improvement
  • Ensure GMP compliance for material planning, change controls, Capa’ s etc.
