We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented leader to join us as an Sr. Manager of Global Supply Chain – Business Operations to join our team and lead all operational aspects of supporting our organization, utilizing their diverse skillsets to innovate and drive process improvement initiatives, identify future capability needs and setting a high standard for how we operationalize Global Supply Chain enabling functions to succeed. The Sr. Manager will lead and drive an operational rhythm to foster continued collaboration within the Global Supply Chain organization, partnering and supporting Project Management teams to optimize and set standards for how we implement operational excellence, design thinking principles and develop performance measures.

To create a strong partnership with stakeholders and leaders across the corporation, as well as to foster continued professional growth, we would like the Sr. Manager to be based / work onsite 3 days a week either out of our global headquarters in Santa Monica, CA reporting to the Senior Director of Business Operations, Risk and Intelligence.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain – Business Operations:

• Drives business strategy & operations by innovating and driving best operational cadence to execute and measure performance of strategic priorities (creation of tools, calendars, dashboards)

• Works with the functional groups to develop and present business cases; supporting the way we operate (by facilitation of workshops, vision/ideation brainstorming sessions, etc.) in development of goals and priorities.

• Develops communication and collaboration opportunities for GSC organization.

• Develops training, workshops, work instructions with strong operational excellence expertise to address risks and opportunities identified across GSC organization.

• Formalize key business decisions for operations function; ensure routine confirmation of value attainment.

• Lead change management, ensure adoption & operationalization of best operational excellence practices

• Support business functions with standardized documentation for cross-functional processes; develop training and learning content

• Supports annual budget and goal-setting in partnering with Finance and GSCLT

• Provides project/program management support to GSC initiatives and programs aligned with business strategy and objectives as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate

OR

Master’s and 6+ years of supply chain or operations experience

OR

Bachelor’s and 8+ years of supply chain or operations experience

OR

Associate and 10+ years of supply chain or operations experience

OR

High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years of supply chain or operations experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strength in communicating and working effectively with broad stakeholders in various scientific/technical/business disciplines and markets

• Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal direction

• 8+ years of experience in an operations or project/program management role in the life sciences and/or medical devices industry preferred

• Works well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment

• Ability to collaborate and communicate with a variety of key stakeholders (PPM, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Supply Chain, Mfg)

• Strong facilitation, performance development and/or learning development experience

• Ability to drive and lead discussion among senior leaders with growth mindset and support identification of desired outcomes

• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills

• Solid leadership and management skills, prior experience with leading & managing teams preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering a timely and high quality end work product

• Enthusiastic team player focused on both the what and the how for solution delivery
