This role is based in our offices in Stockley Park, UK

The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Benefit Operations Associate to be based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. This position will be responsible for providing benefits-related support to employees, managers and stakeholders within the HR function across Europe.

Key objectives

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees, managers and HR Business Partners, providing high quality HR advice and guidance related to benefits administration with a focus on excellent customer service on a wide range of HR activities and processes

  • Manage the day to day benefit administration by informing providers of changes in an employees’ life cycle and maintaining online benefit platforms across multiple countries in Europe.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in benefit-related processes, policies and tools

  • Utilise HRSM technology to triage, track and manage incoming enquiries and cases

  • Create and maintain high quality SOPs

  • Have a strong understanding of benefit plans and be the subject matter expert of benefit processes.

  • Identify process improvements by identifying issues, process delays and quality problems and recommending solutions

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the HR Shared Services FAQ library

  • Ensure compliance with appropriate data protection legislation at all times

  • Liaise with internal departments and third-party service providers as necessary

  • Contribute to wider projects and initiatives within the HR shared Services team

Essential skills and experience

  • Must have an interest and understanding of general HR policies and procedures

  • Will have a strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality

  • Must possess solid verbal, written, interpersonal and telephone communication skills

  • Must be able to identify critical situations and take action to escalate where necessary

  • Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team

  • Must be able to multitask yet remain detailed-oriented with sound time management skills

  • Must possess strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills

  • Must be able to perform role under minimal supervision

  • Experience with Workday, Service Now and Darwin is desirable

  • Knowledge of basic EMEA pensions practices and polices desirable
