Associate Director, Regional Insights, Stockley Park (UK)
We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join the Global Decision Sciences & Insights (GDSI) team to help drive our transformation towards a data-driven decision-making organization. This position will be based in our Stockley Park regional headquarters in Uxbridge (UK), reporting into the head of Regional Insights.
This role is responsible for partnering with the leadership team for Mid-sized Markets to provide market insights, reporting plus decision support across all therapy areas, leading the Project Algebra workstream to enable data and analytics across the region as well as partnering and collaborating with A&I leads in all markets within the region. Process improvement is another key aspect of the role to enable agility and find efficiencies to empower local affiliates.
This is a hands-on role that will be done in partnership with many stakeholders including global marketing leads, regional leadership, global affiliates, IT, GDSI, and CommOps.
The desired candidate would have previous experience of data and analytics as well as reporting, market research and forecasting.
Summary of Role and Requirements
Main areas of work:
Business partnership, analysis and decision support to regional leadership
Sourcing of innovative data solutions to accelerate analytical thought leadership in the region
Co-ordination and consolidation of regional insights for ACE Mid sized markets
Lead the Project Algebra workstream from a PMO perspective
Partnering and collaborating with A&I leads in markets across the region
Process and tools/platform improvement across the region
Other Key Responsibilities:
Good experience and understanding of BI/analytics, market research and forecasting for pharmaceuticals in secondary care setting (hospital/specialist) & key data sources eg IQVIA
Ability to engage, manage and work in partnership with multiple stakeholders, senior leaders, other team members, functions & affiliates, sometimes in an influencing/leading role, sometime in a supporting role.
Project management, co-ordination, cross-functional leadership & stakeholder management
Collaborates and communicates effectively with country colleagues, holding routine and ad-hoc meetings and offering support and timely communication as necessary to align and meet mutual business needs
Articulate standard data ingestion possibilities and make a trade off between standard and custom needs
Helps support timely and effective flow of data and KPIs throughout the organization with least data latency
Oversees a set of quality-checks to provide necessary assurance
Effectively leverages supports from other team members, IT and external vendors as necessary
Essential Competencies

Advanced MS Excel skills and strong skills using other MS software (Word & PowerPoint, etc.) required. Experience in BI software (eg Tableau) or advanced analytics advantageous.
Availability to travel internationally as required.
