We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented leader to join us as an Associate Director of Global Supply Chain – Enterprise Systems Business Process Owner to join our Supply Chain Global Business Process Owners team and partner closely with IT and business functions to architect end-to-end ERP processes, prioritize improvements, and identify future capability needs. While working closely with the project team as the L1 lead for the OTC end-to-end process for implementation of new ERP system, the Associate Director would collaborate with the Director Global Supply Chain BPO to set vision and strategy for process and system improvements. Acting as the business lead for future ERP implementation updates and expansions for supported process areas and new North American regions, the Associate Director will also perform impact assessments on new or changing capabilities, including impact to GxP SOPs, Work Instructions, Training, SOX, and data Integrity.

To create a strong partnership with stakeholders and leaders across the corporation, as well as to foster continued professional growth, we would like the Associate Director to be based / work onsite 2-3 days a week our newest, state-of-the-art Manufacturing facility in Frederick, MD.

Responsibilities of the Associate Director of Global Supply Chain – Enterprise Systems Business Process Owner includes:

  • Leads a team of Global Supply Chain Managers and Analysts

  • Works with the functional groups to develop and present business cases; support technology deployments through the lifecycle of the change

  • Collaborates with IT teams and global supply chain to support growth enabling initiatives

  • Partners with testing lead to ensure test scripts are accurate and coordinate testing, including UAT, of changes and enhancements with the functional groups to ensure successful delivery of changes

  • Works closely with Global Supply Chain Change Control

  • May manage CAPAs and change controls as needed

Basic Qualifications:

PhD degree with 2+ years’ experience working within Supply Chain and/or Business Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or cGMP manufacturing domain experience

OR

MA / MS degree with 8+ years’ experience working within Supply Chain and/or Business Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or cGMP manufacturing domain experience

OR

BS / BA degree with 10+ years’ experience working within Supply Chain and/or Business Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or cGMP manufacturing domain experience

OR

High School Degree with 14+ years’ experience working within Supply Chain and/or Business Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or cGMP manufacturing domain experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in ERP systems process architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management, ideally in biopharmaceutical environment - SAP and EBS experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of OTC and PTD GxP processes

  • Strong project/portfolio management skills (Smartsheet experience a plus)

  • Strength in communicating and working effectively with broad stakeholders in various scientific/technical/business disciplines and markets

  • 10+ years of experience in an operations role in the life sciences and/or medical devices industry preferred

  • Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal direction

  • Works well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with a variety of key stakeholders (IT, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Supply Chain, Mfg)

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills

  • Solid leadership and management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering a timely and high quality end work product

  • Enthusiastic team player focused on both the what and the how for solution delivery
