Job Description
Kite is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join the Business Strategy and Operations team supporting the manufacturing site in Oceanside. This role will report into Operational Excellence along with support of all BSO pillars including Portfolio and Business Management and Excellence.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Leads and supports process improvement initiatives. Mentors others in creating a culture of continuous improvement. Constantly seeks to identify, share, and facilitate adoption of best practices to eliminate waste and improve performance at site and across the organization
• Implement automation to improve efficiency of data collection, analysis and visualization. Designs, streamlines, and implements repeatable processes of analysis that leverage current investments in systems or data structures. Owns data and reporting needs, automates and runs weekly, monthly, and quarterly processing to support internal teams.
• Provide data visualization expertise. Utilize visualization softwares such as Tableau, SmartSheet, PowerBI, Excel and others to provide effective communication tools to stakeholders such as dashboards and trackers. Create, maintain, and operationalize the use of analytics tools using visualization software. Creates, edits, and maintains visual dashboards to present complex information. Assist cross functional site stakeholders with maintenance and presentation of trackers and dashboards.
• Provides insights, business intelligence, and analytics to support decision making. Identifies key metrics and develop executive facing dashboards to track progress of the business and its highest priorities
• Provide training or guidance on the use of data analytics tools. Analyze data sets for trends and outliers and make recommendations for focus areas.
• Supports the Resource Management program at the site. Contribute to process enhancements and support the development of advanced analytics.
• Support budgeting and planning cycles evaluations and exercises.
• Support the site SharePoint administrators for OE and Portfolio on improvements and updates. Work with cross functional teams to identify communication and data needs within site SharePoint. Ensure content is update to date and is meeting needs of end users.
• Provide local troubleshooting Clarity support and make escalations as appropriate. Work with global and local teams to further develop effective portfolio and project dashboards.
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s and 3+ years of business strategy or project management experience
OR
Bachelor’s and 5+ years of business strategy or project management experience
OR
Associate and 7+ years of business strategy or project management experience
OR
High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years of business strategy or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• and written communication
• Self-motivated, creative problem solver and continuous improvement mindset
• Advanced MS Excel skills and in-depth knowledge of other MS software systems (Word PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with data management including data modeling, data mining, reporting data visualization
• PMP certification
