Job Description

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Accountable for the pricing & reimbursement process/dossiers in Key distributors markets and Colombia, preparation including work closely with HEOR to add Health Economic Outcome evidence
  • Accompany and co-create the development & implementation of key countries pricing & reimbursement strategy
  • Support preparation of Price Business Cases across the region, in collaboration with HEOR & Pricing and cross functional team to be submitted to GM for /ICR/GPC approval..
  • Tracking, anticipation and collaborative preparation for new pricing trends/pricing regulations for Key markets.
  • Monitor regulatory environment and anticipate the financial impact of pricing legislation changes; quantify the risks and opportunities for Gilead
  • Support strategic pricing insight generation and strategy generation work across the Gilead portfolio
  • Support formulation and execution of Value and Access strategy specific for each of the key markets, in close partnership with Distributors, Colombia Leads, commercial, medical , HEOR & pricing and GA according to the specifics of the market health system, embracing innovation on the value propositions of the portfolio to ensure mobilization from price to value across the region and differentiate Gilead in the market.
  • Ensures the effective implementation of operational Value Access plan, as agreed on POAs, with a hands-on approach for Colombia, and working hand in hand with distributors to ensure their implementation.
  • Set milestones and manage external vendors and consultants for timely project deliverables
  • Interacting with International Gilead Market Access functions/ pricing global team

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge

  • Market Access experience in HIV, hepatitis or oncology is an advantage
  • Experience in Pharma organizations (Innovative medicines) in access, commercial, pricing or financial positions
  • Exceptionally strong financial & analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Desired understanding of the LATAM healthcare landscape, Market Access and Pricing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with different functions and lead workstreams in a matrix organization
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines, balancing short-term urgencies with long-term importance
  • Ability to develop, drive and implement projects in cooperation with internal and/or external parties
  • Fluent in Spanish and English

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor´s degree in finance, business administration, health sciences , master´s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years previous work experience in access, commercial pharma industry, management, pricing, finance
  • Minimum 5 years of regional experience in South and Central American markets.
